How much food is served on the food tour?

The combination of drink and food served on our culinary adventure makes all tour goers very pleased. No lunch afterwards is necessary. Please understand that the food tours are not covering both breakfast and lunch, so please consider eating breakfast before the tour

What types of foods are served on the tour?

We will visit local restaurants, great eateries and specialty food shops that provide the best that Barcelona has to offer. For a better idea of what types of food will be served, please check individual tours descriptions and check our photo gallery. Also remember, a little surprise in life is what makes it fun!

What eateries will we visit on the tour?

All tours have been introduced in detail in their individual descriptions. We carefully select the best places and variety for your optimal culinary pleasure.

What if someone has food allergies or food restrictions?

Please be sure to let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a food restriction (e.g. allergy, diabetic, etc.) when you make a reservation for your tour. As long as we know in advance, we can accommodate your needs.

Is wine tasting included on the tour?

Yes, we offer wine on all of our food tours. We pair it carefully with your food for the optimal experience. We fully respect your decision of not drinking wine. There will also be water or other soft beverage provided to all our guests. Please be informed, however, that the price of the tour remains the same with or without the wine.

Do we sample food and learn about Barcelona?

Please be aware that this is culinary tour only. You will try a variety of great local food in the unique culinary 3-hour experience. This is not your historical or architectural tour. We are simply here to focus on amazing food in Barcelona. Just imagine walking through Barcelona and eating most delicious foods while learning some interesting culinary facts. Are there vegetarian options available?

Yes, all tours offer tasting options for vegetarians. As long as we know in advance, we can accommodate your needs. In addition, please also check our “Green Barcelona tour” which is a vegetarian dream with amazing food markets and fabulous healthy eats!



Will we walk a lot?

Tour last about from 3 to 5 hours and seating for most of the time. When we walk, it is a moderate pace.

If a food tour is sold out, can I get on a waiting list?

Yes there is a waiting list possibility. We will inform you about the opening one-day ahead the latest. However, we always do our best to accommodate you. Once we know your travel plans, we will do everything to arrange your tour.

>What happens if it rains?

The tours are held rain or shine. In the event of questionable weather, we will be able to go inside many of the restaurants on the tour. However, we advise to check the weather conditions for your day’s event and dress appropriately.

Are cameras allowed on the tour?

Yes. Cameras and filming are allowed during the tour. There is plenty of incredible food to photograph. However, please be aware of other tour participants and our time frame. If you are deeply passionate about photography and need more time to enjoy both, eating and picture taking, we strongly suggest considering taking our affordable, personal tour.

Where and at what time does each of the Food Tours start?

Each Food Tour starts at Plaça de Sant Jaume (Saint James's Square). It is a square in the center of the Old City of Barcelona, and the administrative heart of both the city and surrounding Catalonia. Both the Palace of the Generalitat of Catalonia and the City Hall are located here facing each other. Its central location with very easy access to the metro, taxi and car parking as well as closeness to our culinary adventure, make it an ideal place to meet. Once you book your tour, we will work with you individually to make you feel most comfortable in our city. You will be provided with a map and all the necessary details. It is very easy! We are here for your culinary pleasures and not for the stress of getting around. To make it easier, the tour ends in the same location unless you wish to depart individually from our last tasting.The only tour that will start in different location is GOURMET SAILBOAT TRIP BARCELONA. You will be provided with all the details at the time of booking.

What language are the tours offered in?

At the moment, we offer tours in English and in Polish. Please email us if you would like to make arrangements for your own interpreter to join the tour.

Are the tours designed for wheelchair and baby stroller?

Yes, but please inform us about your needs via email as soon as possible and we will arrange our tour in the best possible way to accommodate you.

All tours last from 11am to 2pm?

The only tour that starts at 10 am and ends at 3 pm is “Breakfast to Siesta tour” which starts with “king’s breakfast” and ends with fabulous “sit down lunch”. This is one of a kind tour that will make you come back to Barcelona often!

When is the best time to take the tour?

Barcelona is a culinary and weather heaven all year round. There is always perfect time to eat! If there is a possibility, we strongly suggest avoiding July and August due to overwhelming number of tourists. However, if this is the only possibility, please do not be discouraged! We will make sure you still have a great time! Also, if possible, we highly recommend taking our food tours at the beginning of your visit so you can have plenty of time to return to you favorite food places and try out our other recommendations. Since tours usually are taken well in advance, please kindly consider your booking as early as possible.

What about taking children on the tour?

Please look for more details in the individual tour descriptions. For some tours, we do offer both adults and children tickets. Some tours are for adults only. The tours range around 3 hours in length. As some children have a limited attention span, the tour may not be appropriate for all of them. We kindly ask that the Parents look at the situation individually. There is some standing and walking, so please consider this when deciding whether the tour is appropriate for your child. If you are bringing an infant or a young child and they will not be participating in the tasting, you do not need to purchase a ticket for them. However, please do let us know about it when you make a reservation.

Do I need to purchase a ticket if I’m not eating?

Yes - all guests must purchase a ticket whether they plan to partake in the food tasting or not. Non-paying individuals will not be able to join the tour for any reason(s).
